Packing List
​Economize when packing, but bring what you need.
​
There is a washer and dryer at Grace House, but it is only used in emergency situations.
​
Plan for about 8 changes of clothes for daily, work or church attire.
​
Daily attire - Casual clothes (shorts, tees, tank-tops jeans) while on the campus and in surrounding areas.

Tennis shoes, sneakers, slides, casual shoes for non-worksite activities

Worksite attire
Work clothes may be permanently stained or damaged.

5-days of work clothes; shorts or long pants; t-shirts or long sleeve shirts

Hard soled work shoes and/or hiking boots; opened toed shoes on worksites are less preferred

Work gloves

Safety glasses (we have these at the center, but most people prefer their own)

Church services on Sunday or Wednesday

Collared shirts, blouses and casual pants, capri pants, slacks, skirt or dress.

Shorts of any type, jeans or sleeveless tops are less preferred.
Sundries

Personal medications (adult chaperones will hold and administer, if requested)

Spending money for soft drinks, snacks, and buddy bags – we recommend about $50. This also needs to cover lunch on the way down and breakfast on the way back. We encourage a donation to the church we attend on Sunday morning or Wednesday

Consider only bringing valuables small enough to store in the car while at the work sites.

Drivers - Worksites are often muddy and the type of work leave riders extremely soiled.
